Managing Lebanon's Agricultural Sector Surplus


Paragon was contracted to estimate the value and nature of Lebanon's agricultural surplus during the period of temporary closure of border crossings leading from Lebanon to the Gulf. Alternative sea routes, investments in vessel purchase and the creation of related and supporting industries (of which packing and cooling centers) all formed part of the study. 

Large-scale Floral Plantations


Best land use for a 68,000 sqm plot on the Litani River banks in South Lebanon was determined through a technical and market study to be flower plantations of three specific types, all with high export promotion potentials. 

Milk Farming in Lebanon


Paragon elaborated breeding models to determine herd roll-out for optimal farm production at the leading Taanayel Farm Zahle. The model was employed for multiple expansion plans for the farming entity as well as other members of its Holding group.

In-House Consulting


For over two decades now, Paragon Business Improvement has played the in-house consulting role for F&B Venture Holding – owner of the Bonjus and Taanayel les Fermes brands, evaluating expansion projects, operational and financial performance, and undertaking internal audits. 

Initiative for Bio-Diversity in Arid Regions


Paragon studied extensively the market viability and feasibility study of establishing an Essential Oil distillation facility in North Lebanon. The project involved assessing the costs and benefits from marrying high-tech with traditional / folk production of Essential Oils, Honey, Cheese and Organic Fruits on some 1.5 million square meters of arid land.

Systematizing Artisanal Production


Paragon laid the turn-around strategy needed to put several informal production entities on the launch-pad for international market penetration, planning their financial and operational aspects to reflect the leap from artisanal to systematized production.
