For Aventis Pharma Near East, Paragon created a database application that serves to enhance progress tracking and management decision - making in what relates to clinical trials undertaken by the leading pharmaceutical firm.
Performance Tracking Database
For FIRST (Fakih Institute for Reproductive Sciences and Technologies) - a leading IVF Center with pioneering track record in the US and with operations in Beirut, Dubai and several other countries, Paragon responded to a call for automating all patient records and creating the accounting system for its various centers in the UAE. Two databases were created for use across the various branches, allowing end of year medical and financial success assessment.
Sales Performance Tracking Database
Paragon created a database application for a food processing company designed to track all sales aspects for dozens of food items carried processed and packaged at the company’s factory; The program is equipped with a flexible dashboard for previous trend tracking and analysis, was designed to raise red flags and provides the necessary decision-support platform for sales team guidance.
Employee Performance Appraisal System
Paragon created the Performance Appraisals Database application to enable value – added decision making for Technip Abu Dhabi's Human Resources Department. This system can be adapted for any other organization.
Cash Management Module for Restaurants
For cash-based retail businesses and restaurants, Paragon elaborated a Cash Management Module that logs in daily cash transactions and provides an up to the minute cash flow statement with clear sources and uses of funds, rendering cash flow control seamless and transparent. The application forms part of the Franchise package for Steak & Cheese Factory.
Financial Tracking for Insurance Brokers
Tracking client payments, settlements to insurance companies and commissions due by insurance providers is rendered straightforward by this Paragon MS Access application.
Job Evaluation & Grading System
Need analysis at Gulf National Consultants - a leading HR consulting firm in Kuwait - resulted in contracting Paragon for the creation of a database application that should automate the data collection and analysis associated with Job Analysis, Job Evaluation (sizing and grading), as well as salary surveys.
Real Estate Sales Tracking & Collection Management
Paragon developed a Sales Management database for Asasate Development, permitting the sales team to track and respond to inquiries about the company’s real estate developments, collect client information for informed decision making, as well simulate and as manage the client’s financing program all the way to the management of installment collections.
Credit Risk Rating System for Banks
Based on a 20-factor framework for the determination of the Probability of Default for Commercial Credit, Paragon developed a database application for the calculation of Expected Loss as based on Basel’s IRB approach. The application uses flexible user-defined risk weights per determinant factor and LGD assumptions for provided securities and collateral to achieve Expected Loss by client, sector and country.
O-PAR (Operational Risk Module for Banks)
Following the requirements of Circular 252 of the Banking Control Commission in Lebanon, Paragon developed a database application for operational loss incident report and data compilation. In addition to the standard BCC requirements for this database, Paragon elaborated a score card approach that draws from the flexible risk weighting framework within the database within a very user-friendly environment. O-PAR provides a risk index per reporting round for control and monitoring purposes. A Beta version of this module is under development, whereby loss evaluation, incident management, KRIs, Controls and residual risk are rendered possible to track.
