Banking Policies & Procedures
Paragon was engaged by more than one Lebanese bank to undertake an extensive and detailed documentation of policies and procedures per banking department, with the aim of reflecting the requirements of regulatory bodies and streamlining directives into the thinking process as well as practical implementation modus operandi.
Organization Design for Engineering Firms
Consulting assistance to the multinational Engineering firm Technip Abu Dhabi resulted in the creation of the Job Descriptions Reference document covering the organization’s 60 functional positions, drawing and implementing the organization’s Performance Evaluation System, devising the Grading Scale and designing the Salary Scale. At a later stage, Paragon consultants were engaged to create the manpower plan and salary scale required for a Business Plan covering the joint venture between Technip KSA and Saud Consult, both Engineering Design firms operating in the Oil & Gas field.
Organization Design for Major Banks
For a number of leading banks in Kuwait & Lebanon, Paragon was mandated to undertake organization design studies ranging from salary benchmarking to job descriptions, devising grading scales using a Point/Factor evaluation system, later developed into an application by Paragon, eventually leading to salary scales and performance appraisal systems. Work conducted in Kuwait covered organization design for the Commercial Bank of Kuwait, Ahli Bank of Kuwait, Kuwait Real Estate Bank, Kuwait Finance House, and finally the Central Bank of Kuwait, all as directly mandated to Paragon by the Kuwaiti company Gulf National Consultants.
Organization Design for Media Companies
Paragon was engaged to document the job descriptions and re-draft the workflow procedures for all departments at The National newspaper in Abu Dhabi, Al Ittihad Newspaper in Abu Dhabi, Sky News Arabia, & The Daily Star newspaper in Lebanon.
Organization Design for Small Manufacturers
Paragon was engaged to draft the workflow procedures for all departments at manufacturing entities in Lebanon aspiring for ISO certification.
